Power of Praying in Tongue

Well, i just came back from a briefing for Prayer Chain Love Singapore exercise. In this project, 52 churches in Singapore have come together to pray for Singapore 24/7 for the entire year. Each church is allocated one week. Next week is my church's allocated slot.

Just like to share with you on a very powerful scripture on praying in tongues. Refer to

Psalm 29: 3-11

3 The *voice of the LORD is over the waters;

the God of glory thunders,

the LORD thunders over the *mighty waters.
(*when we pray in tongue, there is OVER flowing currents of living water that GUSHES out of our mouth like a MIGHTY WATERFALL)

4 The voice of the LORD is powerful;

the voice of the LORD is majestic.

5 The voice of the LORD *breaks the cedars;

the LORD breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.

(*Cedars is a type of tree that has very very deep stubborn roots entrenched in the ground. Praying in tongue is so POWERFUL that it UPROOTS whatever obstacles/problems that you have)

6 He makes Lebanon skip like a calf,

Sirion like a young wild ox.

7 The voice of the LORD strikes

with flashes of lightning.

8 The voice of the LORD shakes the desert;

the LORD *shakes the Desert of Kadesh.

(*In the bible, Kadesh was a place of disbelief, Refer Deut1:19-32. Where 12 spies were sent to recee the land, but eventually, 10 of them decided against proceeding forward. Praying in Tongue shatters all of your doubts and disbelief.)

9 The voice of the LORD makes *the deer give birth

and strips the forests bare.

And in his temple all cry, "Glory!"

(*Praying in tongues is akin to the gesture of giving birth because it symbolizes the bearing of fruits of success, fruits of health, wealth and prosperity.)

10 The LORD sits [d] *enthroned over the flood;

the LORD is enthroned as King forever.

(*No matter how big the calamity/storm you are facing, Abba is sitting on top of it, looking after you)

11 The LORD gives strength to his people;

the LORD blesses his people with peace.
