Today, i was led by the spirit to find data on the rate of evangelism globally. I did a fast google search & found an very interesting article on the tide of evangelism (See 1st picture: The red arrow signify the tide). [1]The tide is now flowing towards the southern and eastern part of Earth.
[2]In table 1 (the 2nd graphic), the data and forecast supports the trend that the next big surge in Christian growth at least till year 2050 will centre mainly on Africa, Asia and Latin America continents while on the contrary, the rate of increase in Christians growth will diminish in Europe and Northern America continent.
[3]In table 3 (the 3rd graphic), the data provided gives the top 10 Christian countries in the World from 1900 to 2050. I took the liberty to transpose the data in table 3 into a graphical chart (See the 4th graphic), and i observed similar trends as well; i.e.
1) China ,and India will enter the top 10 christian countries from 2005 onwards. (Symbolic of Asia continent)
2) These african states will also eventually enter the top 10 ranking; Congo & Nigeria frm 2005, Ethopia frm 2025, & Uganda by 2050.(Symbolic of Africa continent)
3) Brazil has been consistently ranked within top 10 countries since 1900. (Symbolic of Latin American continent).
Folks in Asia be prepared to be hit by the Tsunami of Evangelism...
