Run.. fat boy Run..

This is one memorable incident which partly prompted me to serve in my church's kids' ministry. I have not told anyone abt it except to Val.

It was a warm, bright and sunny day in Dec 2007. I was jogging in bedok reservoir park in mid day. It was the December school holidays and from afar i saw a group of kindergarden students. Apparently, they were on an excursion and were strolling on the tracks.

As i jogged past them, I don't know why i slowed down. Perhaps it was the heat. Perhaps it was the lethargy. But something surprising happened. Some of the kids at the end of the group started to run along side with me to spur me on. Then the rest of the kids cheered me and shouted "gor gor jia you", "gor gor jia you".

It was a scene which i will never forget. This genuine and spontaneous display of a child's kind-hearted spirit deeply struck me. So yup just thought i should share this with you.
